KINO PACIFIC | Ciske de Rat

KINO PACIFIC | Ciske de Rat
Wednesday December 4th 2024

In collaboration with @minouhiemstra, we’ll transform Pacific to a cosy cinema for the night. Kino, from the Greek kinesis meaning ‘movement,’ refers to films known for artistic, high-quality visuals. Often used by film lovers and younger generations to describe cinema at its finest.

On Wednesday December 4th, we'll be screening Ciske de Rat (1984). Ciske de Rat (1984) is a Dutch film classic that tells the story of Ciske Vrijmoeth, a boy with a difficult home life in 1930s Amsterdam. This iconic film in Dutch cinema history received critical acclaim and won several prestigious awards. The film won a Gouden Kalf for Best Feature Film, and Danny de Munk, who played Ciske, was praised for his impressive performance as a young talent.

During the movie you are able to enjoy our NEW menu. Want to have a bite beforehand? Book a table for dinner besides your Kino Pacific ticket!
